Fidelity's Joel Tillinghast: Stockpicker of the decade

There probably isn't room for more than one Joel Tillinghast [manager of Fidelity's $38 billion Low-Priced Stock Fund]. With his runaway record, encyclopedic knowledge of portfolio companies, and meticulous methods, Tillinghast may just be the best mutual-fund manager of the past 10 years.

He's clearly the choice for MarketWatch's Stockpicker of the Decade award, given to the stock-fund manager who best delivered consistently superior returns over a period that included a parabolic bull run and a painful bear market.
