Kevin Duffy on modern warfare

Warfare today is all about pinning the “aggressor” label on the opposing side and claiming victim status.  This allows the self-proclaimed victim to act with impunity – civilians be damned – all in the name of “self-defense.”  Thus modern warfare is filled with an endless litany of false flag operations, baiting the other side into firing the first shot, preemptive strikes and sensationalized propaganda (usually involving “killing babies”) all meant to gain the moral high ground and justify cutting the dogs of war loose.

David Sidman on the security failure that allowed the October 7 Hamas attack

It was either an inside job or the army is so incompetent that they can’t even stop a few pickup trucks and hang gliders from conquering southwestern Israel.

- October 10, 2023

What just happened is that, in the only democracy in the Middle East, a law is being passed - an emergency law is now being passed - that will fine or even arrest anyone who lowers the morale of the soldiers and one of those means... is to express the idea that the attack on Sim Kator in Israel was indeed a false flag, which is basically what I've been arguing up until now.

- October 16, 2023

It's been confirmed that the IDF did receive stand-down order on October 7 during the terrible massacre that took place.

- November 3, 2023

This counry needs to start over again.  Israel has basically become a failed state.  And it pains me to say that, but that's the truth and everyone in Israel who understands what's going on realizes that.  Many are afraid to admit it because it's a hard pill to swallow.  But the Israeli governmnt, what it is today, what it's turned into, it's hard to tell who's side their on.  It's almost as if the Israeli people are its enemy.

Jeff Berwick on the Ocober 7 attack on Israel

A lot of people actually believe this narrative that the Palestinian people are evil.  It's totally not the case.  Absolutely not the case.  A lot of the people in Israel aren't evil either, but the government of Israel is super super evil, and they're the ones doing all of this [false flag attack on Israel].  And because people don't wake up to this, we're probably going to end up in a World War III where most people are going to end up dead.  So first the lefties tried to kill everyone with all the lethal injections [Covid vaccines], they did a pretty good job, and now the righties are going to try to kill everyone with war.  And they all hate us libertarians.  And I'm just sitting at the ranch, got all our food here, we're ready to go for the apocalypse.

Tom Woods on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline attack

Our ruling class will not stop making catastrophic decisions.  Destroying society over Covid is now no longer their primary idiocy.  Now it's risking nuclear war, without so much as a thought of negotiation or diplomacy, as normal people would be pursuing right now.

I agree with Dr. Pierre Kory from episode #2209 of the Tom Woods Show: I am not jumping on any bandwagon, or putting some mob-demanded emoji on my social media, ever, unless I have thoroughly investigated the situation and decided it is not yet another psyop being played on me by psychotics.

So now we've learned of a terrorist attack, almost surely state-led, on the Nord Stream pipelines.

Our CIA-run newspapers (no, they aren't literally run by the CIA, but if they were, how would they be any different?) of course rushed to blame the pipeline destruction on Russia, which has precisely zero motivation to do such a thing.  If they wanted to impede the movement of natural gas from Russia to other European countries, couldn't they just turn the pipelines off rather than destroy a $20 billion project?

Meanwhile, we have footage of Joe Biden and creepy Victoria Nuland -- Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, an unnecessary office if there ever was one -- assuring the world at the beginning of 2022 that if Russia were to invade Ukraine, one way or another Nord Stream 2 would not go forward.

For that matter, Der Spiegel ran this headline: "CIA warns German government against attack on Baltic Sea pipelines."  And Radek Sikorski, a member of the European Parliament who chairs the delegation that deals with relations with the United States, responded to the news of the pipeline blowing up by saying: "Thank you, USA." (At the same time, the Ron Paul Institute's Daniel McAdams notes that Sikorski could be distracting attention from the actions of his own government.)

Do we know for certain what happened? Of course not. But we know this: it's now far easier to keep European countries in line that might otherwise have broken ranks to seek energy supplies in the face of the extremely challenging winter that's on the horizon.

Stephen Kinzer on the sinking of the Maine and pro-war propaganda

Many Americans already felt a passionate hatred for Spanish colonialism and a romantic attachment to the idea of "Cuba Libre."  Their emotions had been fired by a series of wildly sensational newspaper reports that together consitute one of the most shameful episodes in the history of the American press.  William Randolph Hearst, the owner of the New York Journal and a string of other newspapers across the country, had been attracting readers for months with vivid denunciations of Spanish colonialists...

[...]

The moment Hearst heard about the sinking of the Maine, he recognized it as a great opportunity.  For weeks after the explosion, he filled page after page with mendacious "scoops," fabricated interviews with unnamed government officials, and declarations that the battleship had been "destroyed by treachery" and "split in two by an enemy's secret infernal machine."  The Journal's daily circulation doubled in four weeks.  Other newspapers joined the frenzy, and their campaign brought Americans to near-hysteria.

(Editor's note: The role of yellow journalism in whipping Americans into a pro-war frenzy may be overstated.)

Jon Rappoport on who benefits from the Capitol breach

Obviously, if the assault on the Capitol building was a false flag, all the blame cascading down on Trumpers paves the way for Biden and his handlers to carry out even more draconian measures on the American people, under the rubric of National Security—piled on top of the COVID lockdowns.

The short attention span of television viewers shifts further away from the violent Antifa riots in US cities over the past six months.

And whereas media portrayed Antifa riots as “largely peaceful disturbances,” we can look forward to months of pompous posturing about Wednesday’s events in DC.

Biden will be “the sane president” who restored peace and order.

Trump resisters who refuse to acknowledge Biden’s election will be characterized, over and over, as dangerous lunatics.

For the next 20 years, media will play up Wednesday, January 6, 2021, as the dark day America almost broke apart. You can bet a few dozen production companies are already editing footage for “stunning, award-winning” documentaries.

Democrats are feeling a burst of confidence that Trump’s career as a politician is over—since he will forever be linked to “The Insurrection of January 6.”

In their eyes, this is far better than a physical assassination.

Harold Ickes on provoking Japan towards war (1941)

There might develop from the embargoing of oil to Japan such a situation as would make it, not only possible but easy, to get into this war in an effective way.
