From her published writings, it is difficult to escape the conclusion that Professor Tyson's ideal is Eastern European socialism, especially of the Ceausescu variety.
This does not make her an apologist for Communism. She is just another in the lamentably long list of economists who accepted the official statistics about workers' paradises.
