Karen DeCoster Campbell on how Aldous Huxley anticipated the 2020 loss of liberty 59 years ago

Aldous Huxley, who authored "Brave New World" in 1931, said this in a 1961 speech: 

There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.

Huxley referred to the tyrants of the future as "social engineers" and he warned that advanced technology would be used for social conditioning and controlling human behavior. He also warned us about the kind of people who would eagerly adopt the mentality of "Give me television and hamburgers, but don’t bother me with the responsibilities of liberty."

That precisely describes what we are witnessing today, especially under the pretense of so-called "unselfish, responsible, adult-in-the-room" Democrats.  Nothing is less "adult in the room" than these spineless people who willingly turn themselves over to their Overlords and completely trash 250 years of liberty in the process.

Karen DeCoster Campbell on media fearmongering over Coronavirus cases and the social media mob

Observation: So many imbeciles out there who think that every "case" counted (tested positive for *any* coronavirus via an inadequate PCR test) is the equivalent of a very sick person with severe symptoms who needs to be hospitalized in critical condition, thereby "overrunning the hospitals." The threat of "overrunning the hospitals" is the favored media tactic for instilling fear and demanding immediate obedience...

These imbeciles won't ever question the fact that these cases are not, by definition, "sick people." Conversely, anyone who does ask that question ("But are they sick?") and ponders why the media stops at reporting "cases" is immediately swarmed under by an assemblage of low-IQ knuckleheads. I see people who are peacefully and thoughtfully challenging these appalling, dumbed-down media stories with intelligible statements and questions, yet they are immediately stomped on by gaggles of intolerant, hate-ridden, nasty, Left-wing barbarians who, apparently, think they are virtue-signaling their way to heaven.

Remove your damn masks. All you are doing is reinforcing the power of the politicians who are turning you into puppets. The mask enforcement racket is near-dead. Nearly everyone is tired of the whole scam: the constant assault of harrowing media headlines, the Covid numbers game ("cases and infections"), authoritarian politicians, and the ongoing mask bullshit almost eight months later.

Now, if you truly accept the Covid Narrative (if you can follow the moving goalposts), what is missing from being all over the news is the "concern" regarding all of the riots, looting, and protests. But every single time someone enjoys their *normal* life and goes to the beach, hangs with friends, goes to the bar, or goes out to eat, they invoke the "concerns" of the tyrant politicians, the liars in the media machine, the proletariat mask warriors, and the medical politburo.

And of course, some sinister silhouetted photo is used that makes a beach gathering look like an all-out orgy.

Karen DeCoster on dictators invoking Lincoln

I heard this Musharraf moment on NPR early this morning. A very left-wing NPR commentator - is there any other kind? - noted that dictator Musharraf invoked Lincoln while snuffing out civil liberties in Pakistan, and she commented, "now that's a bit of a stretch." Unfortunately, these ignorant people cling to the old stories of presidential hero worship and refuse to acknowledge the historical facts that show that presidents throughout history have raised up the executive branch to a level of power that is neither compatible to liberty or prudent to the sensible man.
